ELECTRO MECHANICA FESTIVAL (ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, 13-15 NOVEMBER) |
Video Jack are performing at Electro Mechanica Festival, St. Petersburg, on the 13th and 14th November.
"Electro-Mechanica" festival will take place on 13-15 of November 2008 in the Sergey Kuryokhin Modern Art Center in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Frank Bretschneider, Mouse on Mars, Thomas Brinkmann, Jacek Sienkiewicz, Andres Loo, Aabzu and Ryoji Ikeda are among the artist performing at the festival.
Our participation at Electro Mechanica will be a major one for us, since we will present most of the work we developed since Video Jack started (2004).
On 13/November, Video Jack will present 3 audio-visual performances:

NAME FESTIVAL 2008 (LILLE, FRANCE) |
After last year's memorable performances at NAME Festival, with Ellen Allien, Loco Dice, Alter Ego and Audion (Matthew Dear), this year Video Jack will VJ again in this fantastic festival.
Dates: 26th and 27th September.
Venue: Tri Postal, Lille, France.
Video Jack will play on the 26th with Quiet Village, Sebo K, Marcin Czubala, Anja Schneider (focus on Mobilee label); and on the 27th with Remote, Ambivalent, Gaiser and Davide Squillace (focus on Minus label).

CREATE 2008 (LONDON, UK)
Part of the Video Jack tour to promote their AVOL project.
CREATE is jointly organised by the Human-Computer Interaction Specialist Group of the Ergonomics Society, and British Computing Society's Interaction Specialist Group, and will be held at the British Computer Society conference venue in Covent Garden, London, on 24-25 June, 2008.

RE:NEW (COPENHAGEN, DENMARK)
Part of the Video Jack tour to promote their AVOL project.
The Re:New digital arts festival will feature more than 150 works of music, video, and installations in any form and combination. Re:New will take place 16-23 May 2008. AVOL will be presented at the Huset i Magstraede building.

Video Jack are about to start touring to promote their AVOL project. In 3 festivals, AVOL will be showcased as an installation.
CARTES FLUX (ESPOO, FINLAND)
Cartes Flux Festival opened 6 May and is on until 18 May 2008. AVOL is shown at the WeeGee building (also home to EMMA - Espoo Museum of Modern Art).
